BCA MARKETING SPECIALIST

Description

The Marketing Specialist strategizes and implements all marketing communication consistent with brand image.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update website content
  • Assist with campaign logistics for direct mail, client communication, and email as needed
  • Propose and implement evolving social media strategies
  • Maintain social media channels (company Blog, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In) and grow BCA social media network
  • Manage and enforce content generation for BCA social media channels
  • Manage and enforce BCA blog/forum monitoring program
  • Monitor and generate reports on BCA marketing results/metrics
  • Manage and edit BCA video and multimedia projects
  • Manage yearly purchase and organization of swag, point of purchase (POP) and sales materials
  • Manage sales and media sample ordering and coordination
  • Enter, ship, and track marketing orders
  • Monitor and order marketing product inventory
  • Test and restock all returned demo equipment
  • Coordinate media buys and direction
  • Manage athlete, ambassador, event, and organizational sponsorship programs
  • Maintain BCA photo database and video/multimedia library
  • Track, scan, and archive BCA publicity and editorial coverage
  • Produce PR, news releases, product and image management for publications, promotional partners, reps, and national accounts
  • Format marketing presentations (ie sales meetings, avalanche workshops, etc.)
  • Assist in trade shows including logistics, staffing, merchandising, and set-up/dismantling

Required Skills

  • Two years of experience in digital media/marketing
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word, WordPress, Powerpoint, and Excel
  • Experienced backcountry skier, snowboarder, or snowmobiler
  • Bachelor’s degree in language arts, journalism, communications, business, or humanities
  • Software skills required:
    • WordPress
    • Google Analytics
    • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Constant Contact
    • Adobe Photoshop
