BCA’s new 18/19 products are designed with simplicity and speed in mind. Backcountry Access will be introducing its new Tracker S avalanche transceiver, a streamlined, more affordable version of the Tracker3™ that features all the performance without the luxuries of motion sensing or upgradable software. All new 18/19 Float™ avalanche airbag models will come in new colors and with the newly redesigned Float 2.0 engine and “ergo trigger,” which features an oval cone shape that fits neatly into the shoulder sleeve and won’t catch on trees. Nearly 30 percent smaller and 15 percent lighter than our Float 1.0 engine, the Float 2.0 engine fits inside the Float airbag compartment, freeing up more valuable space in the main compartment. And we’ll be displaying our next generation BC Link 2.0™ two-way radios, which come with two watts of power for increased usable range.
The new 18/19 BCA products will be available online and at retail stores in the autumn of 2018.
