BCA’s Dane Olson rocks it in this backcountry video filmed outside of Nelson, British Columbia. This is an annual pilgrimage to the Kootenays taken by some of the BCA staff. Also in attendance is Jandy Cox of Rocky Mountain Outfitter in Kalispell, Montana.
The best part? They got to combine snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, and a little skijoring, on their Kootenays’ backcountry trip.
Hill banging in Nelson, BC.
Dane and crew were very confident in the snowpack stability. Since they were snowmobiling and backcountry skiing in a large group, they opted to sled and ski in smaller groups of twos and threes to make the travel more efficient and cover more of the amazing Kootenay terrain.
#unepicadventures for all! Enjoy their snowmobiling and backcountry skiing video (riding to the tracks of the Grateful Dead).
